Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, stocking, and issuing materials and supplies. Verify quantities and conditions of goods, update inventory databases, and conduct cycle counts.
- Assist with the physical movement of inventory within the warehouse or stockroom, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
- Ensure the efficient and accurate flow of inventory within the organization by identifying and resolving discrepancies, minimizing stockouts, and optimizing storage space.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Some positions may require a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; inventory work requires meticulous record-keeping to avoid errors and ensure the smooth flow of goods.
- Excellent communication skills; strong work ethic; ability to work in a team; experience with merchandising, inventory management, branding, and customer management.
