Job summary

Philippine Children’s Medical Center seeks an Internal Audit Division head to oversee the division’s audit functions, set annual goals, objectives and performance targets with the Executive Director’s concurrence, and establish internal auditing standards and procedures.

Under direction, you will coordinate with COA to avoid duplication of audit effort, perform final reviews of audit plans, guide staff, and address training needs while ensuring performance and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Under direction, supervises a division tasked with internal audit functions;
• Establishes the annual goals, objectives and performance targets of the internal auditing unit with the concurrence of the Executive Director;
• Establishes internal auditing standards, guidelines and procedures for the guidance of the internal audit;
• Determines the extent of coordination with COA to avoid duplication of audit effort;
• Does final review of internal audit plans;
• Reviews and approves recommendations for enhancement of the internal audit functions;
• Determines training needs of the internal audit staff;
• Responsible for work performance and discipline of audit staff;
• Does related work assigned from time to time
