Job summary

TL Mabuhay Driving Lesson Academy Inc. is seeking an Internal Audit Staff to strengthen risk management and governance across our network of branches. You will evaluate controls, perform audits, and provide actionable recommendations to management.

Ideal candidates have a degree in accounting or a related field, 1–2 years in audit or compliance, strong analytical and communication skills in English and Filipino, and the ability to work independently with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of internal audit, external audit, or compliance experience; fresh graduates welcome with strong academics.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and accounting/ERP software.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and auditing principles.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Tagalog/Cebuano.
• High integrity, objectivity, and ability to work independently with time-management skills.
• Open to occasional site visits across branch locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document regular operational, compliance, and financial audits across academy operations and administrative functions.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying weaknesses and risks.
• Verify compliance with policies, local regulations, driving school standards, and accounting guidelines.
• Prepare clear audit findings reports with actionable recommendations for management.
• Conduct physical inventory counts, asset verifications, and cash counts for branches.
• Monitor implementation of action plans to address audit issues.
• Assist in formulating and updating company policies, SOPs, and internal control guidelines.
