You will apply advanced knowledge of Australian taxation to provide expert advice on Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), and complex Income Tax obligations.

Complex Issue Troubleshooting: Serve as the go-to expert for resolving intricate tax matters, including bucket company obligations, UPE management, and international tax dealings. You ensure all strategies align with the latest ATO rulings and industry best practices.

Portfolio & Lodgment Leadership: Take ownership of the lodgment program, ensuring work is delivered without delays. This includes proactively chasing necessary working papers and managing multiple client portfolios with surgical precision.

Collaborative Liaison: Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and accountants within the Eagle group. You have the confidence to articulate complex tax concepts and resolve technical queries through Microsoft Teams and professional correspondence.

Process Innovation: Identify and implement efficiencies in tax workflows. You are encouraged to leverage technology to improve accuracy and streamline software usage across the team.

What You Bring

The Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of dedicated experience in Australian tax accounting. You have a proven track record of handling high-level tax compliance and complex strategies for a variety of entities.

The Credentials: CPA, CA, or tax-specific qualifications are essential. You must have a comprehensive understanding of Australian accounting standards.

Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Xero, Xero Practice Manager, and the Microsoft Office Suite. You are comfortable using PDF editor tools and managing digital documentation in a cloud-based environment.

The Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. You are a self-motivated professional who can meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities independently.

Communication Prowess: Excellent verbal and written English skills. You must be able to explain sophisticated tax strategies to stakeholders and maintain professional relationships across global teams.
