TOA Global Pty in Cebu, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Intermediate Bookkeeper to join our onsite, full-time team. You will manage BAS/IAS lodgments, reconcile accounts, and provide GST and PAYG guidance while supporting and mentoring the local bookkeeping staff on modern cloud accounting systems.

Your role emphasizes leadership, accuracy, and proactive client service, with a clear pathway toward senior bookkeeping roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in bookkeeping and Australian accounting compliance.
• Registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB); Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting and professional membership (ICB, CPA, IPA) are preferred.
• High proficiency in leading cloud accounting software platforms, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
• GST and PAYG knowledge; exceptional attention to detail; strong written and verbal English communication skills; and a collaborative, team-first leadership approach.

Responsibilities

• BAS & IAS Compliance: Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS, ensuring compliance with ATO requirements.
• Account Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile client balance sheet accounts, prepare financial statements, and perform ledger clean-ups.
• Advisory & ATO Liaison: Provide GST and PAYG guidance and liaise with the ATO on BAS-related matters.
• Team Supervision & Client Support: Direct, supervise, and mentor the Cebu team; deliver software training and client support on cloud accounting systems.
