Job summary

Whr Global Consulting in the Philippines seeks an Interior Designer & Sales Consultant who blends design excellence with consultative selling. Lead client engagement from the initial pitch to the final hand-off, translating client visions into compelling design concepts and persuasive proposals.

You will develop functional interiors, produce renderings, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery while meeting revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Licensed Interior Designer is a major advantage.
• 2–3 years of experience in interior design, sales, or client management.

Responsibilities

• Consult with potential clients to understand functional needs, stylistic preferences, and budget.
• Pitch custom interior design solutions, material packages, and cost estimates to convert inquiries into signed contracts.
• Build and maintain a strong client pipeline to achieve sales targets.

In this role, you will lead client engagement from the initial pitch to the final hand-off—translating client visions into compelling design concepts, presenting custom proposals, and closing sales to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Licensure: A licensed Interior Designer is a major advantage.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in interior design, sales, or client management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in design-build, construction, or high-end showroom/furniture retail environments.
• Proven track record in residential, commercial, or office interior design projects.
• Demonstrated experience in consultative sales, pitching, and meeting sales quotas.
• Knowledge of procurement, supplier sourcing, and material pricing.
• Portfolio showcasing completed design projects alongside successful pitch proposals.

Technical & Sales Skills

• Design Software: Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, Lumion, or similar visualization tools.
• Technical Design: Strong grasp of space planning, furniture layout, material specification, and working drawings.
• Sales & Proposal Generation: Ability to create persuasive design concepts, mood boards, comprehensive pitch decks, and accurate cost estimates/budget proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Engagement

• Actively consult with potential clients to understand their functional needs, stylistic preferences, and budget constraints.
• Pitch custom interior design solutions, material packages, and cost estimates to prospective clients to convert inquiries into signed contracts.
• Build and maintain a strong client pipeline, achieving individual sales and revenue targets.
• Upsell additional design services, premium finishes, and custom furniture/decor packages.

Design & Concept Development

• Develop functional, innovative interior design concepts and mood boards tailored to client goals.
• Produce precise layout drawings, realistic 3D renderings, and detailed specifications to support sales proposals.
• Formulate accurate project estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ), and pricing proposals.

Project Execution & Coordination

• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless transition from sale to execution.
• Source materials and negotiate supplier pricing to maintain profitability without sacrificing design quality.
