App Connect Enterprise (ACE):

• Proficiency in using IBM ACE (formerly known as IBM Integration Bus (IIB))
• Understanding of IBM ACE architecture and components
• Experience with message flow development using IBM ACE Toolkit
• Ability to create message models and message sets
• Knowledge of IBM ACE runtime environments and deployment options

Message Formats and Protocols:

• XML
• JSON
• SOAP
• RESTful APIs
• MQ (WebSphere MQ)

Message Transformation:

• Data mapping and transformation using graphical mapping editor or ESQL (Embedded SQL)
• Use of message maps and message domains

Error Handling and Exception Management:

• Ability to design and implement error handling and exception management strategies in IBM ACE message flows
• Error logging and reporting mechanisms
• Retry mechanisms for failed messages
