Job summary

Energy Development Corporation is seeking a Lead-Insurance Management to coordinate and implement insurance programs for company risks, and oversee claims processing. The role interfaces with IM Specialists, insurance providers, and brokers to secure favorable terms and maintain robust risk transfer strategies.

Key duties include leading insurance program development, claims management, and driving best practices within the IM team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and/or coordinates with the assigned IM Specialists the establishment and implementation of effective insurance programs for the Company’s insurable risks on commercially reasonable terms.
• Facilitates and/or coordinates with the assigned IM Specialists the Company’s insurance claims to ensure that claims are promptly notified, filed, documented, adjusted, settled and paid.
• IM Specialist Team Lead in interfacing with insurance providers and brokers to negotiate preferred terms, coverage, and pricing.
• Document and periodically recommend improvement to streamline and simplify the business process.
• Educate, synchronize and implement best practices to the IM team.
