Key Responsibilities

• Masonry Installation: Install and repair masonry structures like brick walls, stone foundations, sidewalks, patios, chimneys, and other concrete elements.
• Surface Preparation: Prepare and level surfaces before laying bricks, tiles, or other materials, ensuring a solid foundation for installation.
• Mixing Materials: Prepare mortar, concrete, and other materials, mixing them to the correct consistency and ensuring quality for the task at hand.
• Woodwork Construction: Construct, install, and repair wooden structures such as frameworks, staircases, doors, windows, and furniture.
• Measuring and Cutting: Measure materials accurately and cut wood or other materials according to specifications using hand and power tools.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine dimensions and materials needed for projects.

Masonry Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in masonry or construction is often preferred.
