Job summary

Level Up Talent Solutions is seeking a Lean-Pro Inpatient Coder - QA Specialist to perform coding quality reviews and audit support for inpatient medical coding work.

You will review inpatient coded records for accuracy and completeness, identify documentation gaps, and support quality improvement across coding outputs in a non-voice QA environment. The ideal candidate has recent clinical or hospital experience, inpatient coding proficiency, and certification such as CCS/CPC/CIC.

Qualifications

• PHRN or Medical Allied background.
• CCS, CPC, or CIC certification, preferably with inpatient coding focus.
• At least 1 year of recent and relevant clinical or hospital experience.
• At least 3 years of inpatient coding experience.
• Strong understanding of inpatient coding guidelines, clinical documentation, and coding compliance.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to review coded records objectively.
• Able to work in a non-voice coding QA environment.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient coded cases for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Audit diagnosis, procedure, and inpatient coding outputs based on coding guidelines and client standards
• Identify coding discrepancies, documentation gaps, and process improvement opportunities
• Provide clear QA findings and feedback to support coding accuracy and performance improvement
• Track coding quality trends, recurring errors, and audit results
• Support calibration sessions and alignment with coding standards
• Maintain accurate QA records, audit documentation, and quality reports
• Escalate complex coding or compliance concerns when needed
