Job summary

BPI MS Insurance Corporation is seeking an IT Governance Analyst to support the implementation and monitoring of IT governance processes across infrastructure, applications, and services. The role ensures IT activities align with policies, standards, and business objectives.

The analyst will assist in governance reviews, audits, and documentation, coordinating with IT and business teams to maintain controls and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT operations, IT governance, IT audit, or IT project support.
• Basic knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of IT governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Help ensure IT activities follow internal governance frameworks and guidelines.
• Assist in reviewing and documenting IT processes across infrastructure, applications, and IT services.
• Support internal and external IT audit activities.
• Help identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure IT operations follow governance standards.
• Support documentation and monitoring of infrastructure-related controls.
• Work with Business Analysts and IT teams to support both project initiatives and BAU activities.
• Ensure business requirements and IT deliverables follow governance processes.
• Assist in governance activities related to digital transformation and technology initiatives.
• Support governance oversight for IT projects including documentation, approvals, and compliance with project standards.
• Assist in tracking project status and governance checkpoints.
• Coordinate with application development teams to ensure adherence to SDLC processes and governance standards.
• Support collaboration with solution architects to ensure solutions align with IT standards and architecture guidelines.
• Serve as a backup or alternate for the System Administrator when required.
• Provide basic support for system administration tasks such as user access management, system monitoring, and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Maintain governance documentation, reports, and process records.
• Assist in preparing governance reports for management.
