Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an Incident Response professional based in the Philippines. The role focuses on actively monitoring, detecting, and responding to security alerts and incidents in line with defined SLAs.

You will perform alert triage, asset identification, and containment/eradication within the stated SLOs, leveraging tools like ServiceNow, EAS, IPS, WAF, NAC, and firewalls. 1–2 years of IR experience and a IT/CS/engineering degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of work experience in Incident Response.
• Knowledge of Security Monitoring and Service Management Tools required.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor, detect, and respond to security alerts and incidents per defined SLA.
• Incidents acknowledged and responded to within the agreed response SLO.
• Perform alert triage and analysis including asset and custodian identification, reputational checking, and alert validation.
• Contain and eradicate incidents within the agreed response SLO.
• Ensure resolution of incidents within the defined SLOs.
• Utilize IR toolsets such as ServiceNow, EAS, IPS, WAF, NAC, Firewall etc.
• Prepare timely Operational Performance reports/dashboards for management.

• Perform containment and eradication within the agreed response SLO
• Ensures resolution of incidents within the defined SLOs
• Utilize IR toolsets such as ServiceNow, EAS, IPS, WAF, NAC, Firewall etc
• Timely submission of Operational Performance reports/dashboards/value reports for consumption of management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree of Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• At least 1-2 years work experience in Incident Response
• Knowledgeable in Security Monitoring and Service Management Tools
