Job summary

Manulife Financial is recruiting for a Manager, Information Risk Management to support the 2nd line risk oversight program for North America. The role focuses on information security, business resiliency and technology risk within the IRM team, with potential to become a Subject Matter Expert.

You will work with directors and risk partners to drive risk-informed decision making, maintain relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in risk and control space
  • Expertise in information security, business resiliency and technology risk
  • Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with IT security, programming/coding and IT compliance
  • Professional designations in information security, audit and business continuity
  • University degree required

Responsibilities

  • Support directors on delivering the 2nd line information risk oversight program for the U.S. and Canadian segments
  • Promote a strong information risk culture and inclusive values
  • Stay abreast of new regulations for information security, cybersecurity and privacy
  • Maintain and foster relationships with internal customers and risk partners
