Responsibilities
- The Industrial Engineer shall be responsible for overseeing all activities and projects related to operations processes. He shall also be responsible for measuring, monitoring and presenting operations productivity performances.
- If a new process is implemented, it is the responsibility of the IE to train warehouse staff for standardization. This can include developing instructions and manuals for employees.
- IEs aggregate and summarize information from a variety of sources, and communicate their findings as appropriate. By utilizing analytical skills, areas of improvement can be more easily identified.
- Develop most efficient ways to use people, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a service.
- Ensure continuous improvement tools are being utilized and sustain high operations performance.
- Gathering and analysing operational data to contribute to improvement projects.
- Help the company increase productivity.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Industrial Engineering
- Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs such as MS Office
- Pro-active, innovative, result oriented
- Good leadership skills
