J.V Angeles Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems in industrial construction sites. You will read schematics, ensure compliance with codes, and collaborate with other trades.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in industrial electrical work, proficiency with high-voltage equipment, and a strong commitment to safety. Driving to site locations is required where applicable.

Competenze

• Qualified Industrial Electrician or equivalent electrical trade qualification.
• 5+ years in industrial electrical installation, maintenance and repair.
• Proficient reading of electrical schematics, blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards and regulations for industrial construction.
• Experience with high-voltage systems, motors, transformers and control panels.
• Competent with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, power quality analysers).
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and rectify complex faults.
• Commitment to health and safety protocols in industrial environments.
• Physical ability for demanding manual work and heights.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to site locations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with diverse teams.
• Preferred: experience in construction electrical work or industrial facility maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in industrial construction environments

• Diagnose electrical problems and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, motors and control panels

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics and technical drawings to guide installation and repair work

• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations and industry standards

• Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments on electrical systems and equipment

• Collaborate with other trades and construction teams to coordinate electrical work within project schedules

• Assist in training and mentoring junior electricians and apprentices on best practices and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Recognised qualification or certification as an Industrial Electrician or equivalent electrical trade qualification

• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial electrical installation, maintenance and repair work

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards and regulations relevant to industrial construction

• Experience with high-voltage systems, motors, transformers and control panels
