Job Description
An "in-house" electrical engineer designs, develops, and maintains the electrical systems and equipment for their specific company, focusing on internal operations rather than external projects. Key duties include creating electrical schematics, performing complex calculations with specialized software, ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with other engineers, managing project timelines, and often overseeing equipment maintenance and installation within the organization's facilities.
Core Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Design and create schematics for internal electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.
- System Maintenance: Manage and maintain the company's electrical infrastructure, including lighting, power, and ventilation systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical installations and systems adhere to local and international safety standards and engineering codes.
- Testing & Analysis: Conduct tests on electrical systems and analyze data to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and departments to integrate electrical solutions into the company's overall operations.
