Job summary

ECI is seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer to deploy on-premises infrastructure and integrate with Microsoft Cloud solutions for global clients. You will evaluate client needs, help configure standards, automate deployments, and produce documentation and training materials.

In a fast-paced, hybrid role, you will engage with high-profile finance clients, troubleshoot deployments, and drive projects to closure with minimal supervision while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• College diploma or University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years in project engineering or similar deploying on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Servers, PowerShell, Azure AD, AD sync, Exchange Online/Hybrid/On-premises, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Experience with MDM technologies, Intune MDM/MAM.
• Experience with building, retiring, migrating Domain Controllers, DFS/R, DHCP, DNS, GPOs.
• Exceptional written, oral communication and documentation skills.
• Strong people skills and client-facing abilities.
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver customer value.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues in client projects or preproduction environments, coordinating with internal resources and vendors.
• Pursue continuous improvement and relevant Azure/O365/AWS certifications.

Position Summary

ECI has an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Engineer, who is responsible for implementing all aspects of ECI's client's technologies globally. This includes evaluating client technology needs, assisting with the development of configurations and standards that support ECI and Client business processes, utilizing automation of standardized solutions, validate and troubleshoot deployments, hardware/software installations and upgrades, new infrastructure build outs, and assisting with the creation of internal documentation and client facing training materials.

In this role, you will interface with high profile financial industry clients daily thus requiring the highest level of presentation, communication, and professionalism. In addition, the Technical Implementation Engineer will multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment, can learn, document, standardize, and implement modern technologies quickly and efficiently.

This is a Hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team with talented engineers such as yourself, who enjoy collaborating to meet project objectives
• Deploy on-premises infrastructure services, integrate with Microsoft Cloud Ecosystem solutions, and ECI's Private Cloud base solutions
• Independently drive project objectives to closure with minimal to no supervision while providing regular status updates to project manager and team.
• Collaborate with various groups in the organization to implement innovative technologies, upgrade, migrate, and retire outdated Infrastructure and solutions
• Document processes, procedures, lessons learned for integrating into iterative deployment process and automation improvement
• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing or onboarding client's project or preproduction environments, coordinating with internal resources and vendors
• Engages in self-directed continuous improvement and learning of ECI and Industry products including Azure/O365/AWS certifications throughout the year.

Qualifications

• College diploma or University degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent field and/or related experience with a minimum of 10 years in a project engineering or similar role with a focus on deploying on-premises infrastructure solutions as well as cloud base solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of and experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Windows Servers, PowerShell, Azure Active Directory, AD sync, Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid, Exchange On-premises, SharePoint Online and OneDrive
• Experienced with MDM technologies, with a focus on Intune MDM/MAM
• Experienced with building, retiring, and migrating Domain Controllers, DFS/R, DHCP, DNS, GPO's
• Exceptional written, oral communication, and documentation skills
• Exceptional people skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with exacting attention to detail
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of multitasking in a high pace environment, effectively and efficiently
• Outstanding customer services skills and ability to demonstrate client sensitivity

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experienced with deploying and management of remote access solutions; Citrix XenApp and Azure AVD
• Experienced in building new Virtual machines in VMware and Azure
• Experienced in building new VMware ESXi host servers
