Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong artistic background with knowledge of color, layout, perspective, and design.
• Portfolio showing game art, concept art, and digital painting.
• Proficiency with Photoshop or similar design software.
• User-focused approach to visual representation.
• Experience working in an AGILE team.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of Spine or After Effects is a plus.

About the role

We are an international software and development company aiming to help improve the efficiency and workflow by designing and implementing unique solutions that answer our customers business needs. You will apply strong artistic skills and commitment to quality, creating illustrations, characters, game elements and environments in collaboration with the design team.

Key responsibilities

• Create illustrations, characters, game elements and environment, collaborating with the design team, based on the specifications given by the Game Producer and Art Director
• Ensure that all graphic elements have a uniform appearance, in accordance with the predetermined style of the game
• Ensure every visual aspect is well thought out and created in the best possible quality
• Follow UX design principles and make feasible UX decisions within the scope of the product
• Collaborate with the marketing and development teams from the early stages of UX projects
• Provide developers with clean, well-organized files

About you

• Strong artistic background with deep knowledge of color, layout, perspective, and design
• Robust portfolio displaying past professional assignments or personal projects, showcasing versatile artistic style - sketches, concepts, game art, fantasy, illustrations, digital painting
• Proficiency in design software and digital tools - Photoshop and similar programs
• User-focused approach when thinking about the visual representation of all projects
• Experience working as part of an AGILE team
• Knowledge in Jira ticketing system/project management and Confluence documentation
• Good English – both written and spoken
• Spine or After Effects software skills (desirable)
