About the role
Administer AWS infrastructure in the other region/s, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/Internet/VPN/Transit Gateways, and multi-AZ deployments. Manage on-premises servers, storage, and supporting systems across data centers. Monitor system health, perform patching and upgrades, and maintain secure connectivity between AWS, on-premises data centers, and MuleSoft CloudHub.
Key responsibilities
- Administer AWS infrastructure in the other region/s, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/Internet/VPN/Transit Gateways, and multi-AZ deployments
- Manage EC2 instances, EBS volumes, security groups, and IAM roles and policies across Production and Non-Production VPCs (Staging/Pre-prod, UAT, Test, Development)
- Monitor cloud resource utilization, optimize costs, and right-size workloads
- Maintain secure connectivity between AWS, on-premises data centers, and MuleSoft CloudHub via Transit Gateway and VPN
- Administer servers, storage, and supporting systems across data centers
- Support DMZ and Corporate LAN segments, including coordination with network teams on WAF, firewalls (DMZ and Corporate), core switches, distribution switches, and TOR switches
- Manage load balancers (external and internal) and ensure proper traffic distribution across nodes
- Monitor system health using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent; respond to alerts and resolve incidents within SLA
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and routine operations using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or shell/Python scripting
- Implement and maintain hardening standards across servers, network segments, and cloud resources
About you
- Experience administering AWS infrastructure including VPCs, subnets, route tables, and gateways
- Experience managing EC2 instances, EBS volumes, security groups, and IAM roles and policies
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent
- Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or shell/Python scripting
- Knowledge of on-premises infrastructure administration including servers and storage
- Knowledge of network segments including DMZ and Corporate LAN
- Knowledge of load balancers and traffic distribution
- Knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures
- Knowledge of security hardening standards and least-privilege access principles
