Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Sr. Java Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The role spans the full software lifecycle, including testing, debugging, and collaboration with stakeholders. Strong Java/JEE, Spring MVC, REST APIs, React.js, and responsive web development skills are essential; hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) and QC shift flexibility are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of Java development experience and 5+ years of frontend/web development experience.
• Strong experience with Java/JEE, Spring MVC, REST APIs, React.js, HTML/CSS, SQL, JPA/Hibernate.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and responsive web development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex, multi-tiered web applications.
• Develop backend services using Java/JEE, Spring MVC, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL.
• Build responsive web interfaces using React.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform code enhancements, and resolve programming defects.
• Develop unit and automated tests and support test-driven development.
• Participate in Agile development and Git-based version control.
• Document technical solutions, application changes, and implementation plans.
• Stay updated on software development best practices and recommend improvements to development standards.
