Job summary

A prominent technology firm based in the Philippines is looking for a Financial Accountant to oversee financial operations in the ANZ region. This role includes preparing financial reports, managing financial processes, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, alongside 4+ years of relevant experience. Strong proficiency in accounting software and commercial analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • CPA/CA preferred for higher-level qualifications.
  • Minimum of 4 years of applicable accounting experience.
  • Strong communication skills and deadlines-oriented.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and Office.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor performance and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Support audits and ensure tax compliance.
  • Provide financial insights for business planning.
  • Develop models and dashboards for reporting.
  • Manage assets, treasury, payroll, and invoicing.
  • Handle AP/AR and ad-hoc financial analysis.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred)
4+ years of accounting experience with relevant qualifications
Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in accounting systems (SAGE, NetSuite, MYOB desirable)
Experience with global banking platforms and end-to-end financial processes
Knowledge of Australian taxation and payroll
Advanced MS Excel and solid MS Office skills
Ability to perform commercial analysis to support decision‑making
