Job summary

A7 Recruitment invites a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our client at BGC, with a 50% hybrid schedule and a mid-shift start. The role focuses on securing IT systems and streamlining deployments across Azure and AWS environments.

You'll work on IaC with Terraform, container tech with Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Server and GitHub Actions, collaborating with teams to minimize downtime and improve security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 4–7 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Hands-on with Azure cloud services and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting.
• Experience supporting cloud operations, migrations, and troubleshooting in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing secure IT systems to support business operations and minimize downtime.
• Integrating development, operations, and security practices to enhance software delivery.
• Bridging the gap between development and operations teams for seamless application deployment.
• Utilizing Azure DevOps Server and AWS CloudFormation for efficient project management and deployment.
• Managing security infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and incident remediation to address potential threats.
• Employing Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code and automation tasks.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Analyzing complex data to inform insights and recommendations for system improvements.
• Upholding professional and technical standards in all client engagements.
