Job summary

ePERFORMAX Contact Centers Corporation is seeking an early-career BI/Data Engineer to develop and automate reports using Power BI and SQL in a hybrid Manila-area role. The candidate should have 1+ year in Power BI, SSIS/SSRS, and strong SQL skills.

Azure data services, data modeling, and scripting with Python or R are highly valued. The role emphasizes collaboration with business specialists, data quality validation, and creating end-user documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with Power BI including data pipelines, data flows, data modeling and DAX.
• 1 year of experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Strong SQL skills from simple to complex queries.
• Experience with JSON data sources and parsing.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Azure cloud platform experience (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Synapse).
• Knowledge of data modeling, schema design and database optimization.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
• Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is a plus.
• Experience with ML/AI is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork; ability to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work with business specialists to gather project requirements.
• Conduct data analysis during report development.
• Create and automate standardized reports using SQL.
• Write relational and complex queries to meet report specs.
• Validate reports to ensure data accuracy.
• Create guidelines and documentation to help end users run the reports.
