Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR and Recruitment Lead to oversee HR functions. In this role, you will handle recruitment, onboarding, assist accounting in payroll related activities, compliance, and employee relations to support our team of virtual assistants serving U.S. clients. This position is remote/work-from-home but requires someone based in Cebu City (or nearby) for occasional on-site tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding of employees
  • Manage employee relations and foster a positive work culture
  • Assist our accounting team in payroll processing and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and maintain HR documentation
  • Support performance evaluations, training initiatives, and career development programs
  • Handle logistical HR tasks such as equipment procurement and document signing with our attorney
Qualifications and Skills
  • 3-5 years of HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (Sprout experience is a strong plus)
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to work U.S. time zones (night shift in PH), with occasional daytime work as needed to manage tasks that must be handled during the day.
  • Must be based in Cebu City or nearby and willing to travel locally as needed
Work Arrangement
  • Location: Remote (Work-from-Home), Cebu-based candidate preferred
  • Schedule: Full-time, U.S. business hours (night shift in PH), with occasional daytime work as needed
  • Travel: Occasional within Cebu for HR-related errands
Compensation
  • Salary Range: Approximately 35,000 - 50,000 PHP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
