Job summary

The HR Generalist role within Appen’s Philippines HR Operations team supports onboarding, employee movement, and offboarding for a workforce of about 600 project workers and 200 corporate staff. The role ensures local compliance and timely HR services across the organization.

It offers exposure to HR systems such as Sprout and Workday, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements through automation and AI tools, including Claude.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HR operations, generalist, or shared services in the Philippines.
• Familiarity with Philippine statutory requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) preferred.
• Experience with HRIS systems such as Sprout and/or Workday is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding, employee movement, and offboarding for ~600 project workers and ~200 corporate employees.
• Coordinate Day 1 readiness with IT and facilities and manage payroll inputs and queries.
• Support benefits enrollment, leave entitlements, and HR policy communications.
