Qualifications
- College Graduate
- 3–4 years of experience as HR Generalist in a supervisory level
- Strong background in employee relations and compensation and benefits
- Excellent technical writing skills and knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in conflict resolution, mediation, employee engagement, and retention strategies
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to analyze data and provide reports
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills
Job Responsibilities
Compensation and Benefits
- Implement updated mandatory wage per region and perform timekeeping processes to ensure accurate salary and wage crediting.
- Countercheck government-mandated processes, online transactions, and ensure reports are generated and paid on time (SSS, PHIC, HDMF).
- Monitor and supervise clearance and final pay processes for separated employees.
- Conduct auditing of compensation and benefits team reports.
Employee Relations
- Assist in employee relations strategy to maintain a positive work environment and relationships between management and employees.
- Implement policies and procedures, handle employee grievances, and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
- Ensure a productive and engaged workforce by developing and conducting employee relations training programs.
- Supervise employee discipline, conduct investigations, and resolve incidents, complaints, and grievances.
- Compose memos, NTE, NDA, and attend administrative hearings.
- Collaborate with HR and Legal teams to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct exit interviews, provide feedback, and report findings.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and execute employee engagement initiatives.
Recruitment, Selection, and Hiring
- Monitor recruitment, selection, and hiring processes.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and negotiate job offers with successful candidates.
- Supervise and arrange new employee orientation to support onboarding processes.
As HR Officer (Generalist), the candidate is expected to be a conceptual thinker with strong organizational and conflict management skills. Must have excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, the capacity to multitask, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Support the department in all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
