The housekeeper ensures that assigned areas are clean, sanitary, and well-organized by performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Tasks

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and surfaces.
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas.
• Washing windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Removing trash and recycling, and replacing liners.

Laundry Duties

• Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
• Organizing and storing laundry items appropriately.

Organization

• Tidying up rooms and spaces.
• Making beds, changing linens, and replenishing toiletries.
• Ensuring furniture and decorations are arranged neatly.

Stock Management

• Monitoring cleaning supplies and replenishing stock as needed.
• Reporting maintenance or repair needs to supervisors.

Other Duties

• Assisting with meal preparation or light cooking (if required).
• Running errands, such as grocery shopping.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).

Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role (preferred).
