Job summary

Destination Hospitality is seeking an experienced Architect specializing in Hospitality Development & Projects to lead design and delivery across hotels, hostels, resorts, and F&B venues. You will manage concept to construction documentation, coordinate with contractors, and ensure design aligns with guest experience and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Professional architectural license/registration where required.
• 3-7+ years of architectural experience in hospitality or related commercial projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design and project delivery.
• Experience from concept design through construction documentation and site coordination.
• Knowledge of building codes, planning regulations, fire & life safety, accessibility, and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and design solutions for hotels, hostels, resorts, restaurants, bars, cafés, and F&B outlets.
• Translate business and operational requirements into functional, efficient spaces.
• Develop concept, schematic, design development, and construction documentation.
• Plan guest-facing and back-of-house areas including guestrooms, reception, lobby, restaurants, kitchens, staff areas, offices, and service spaces.
• Ensure designs support guest experience, operational efficiency, brand standards, revenue generation, and asset value.
• Support evaluation and planning of existing properties for conversion.
• Develop renovation, refurbishment, adaptive reuse, and repositioning concepts.
• Conduct site surveys and assess existing building conditions.
• Prepare and review drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, specs, and docs.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, PMs, and internal stakeholders.
