Job summary

Ayala Westgrove Heights Homeowners Association, Inc. is seeking a skilled Horticulturist/Gardener to maintain the community’s landscapes and greenspaces in Cavite.

The role focuses on implementing a comprehensive care plan for tropical plants, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and monitoring plant health to keep common areas vibrant and welcoming. You will work closely with the grounds team and residents, maintain records of activities and expenditures, and ensure timely updates to the HOA on

Qualifications

• Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design or related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as a horticulturist or gardener.
• Strong knowledge of tropical plant species and care.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with residents and teams.
• Proficient with landscaping tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive landscaping plan for the community.
• Oversee planting, pruning, fertilizing and watering of plants, trees and flowers.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design or a related field

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience as a Horticulturist or Gardener, preferably in a residential or commercial setting

• Strong knowledge of tropical plant species, their care requirements and best practices for maintaining healthy landscapes

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve any plant or landscaping issues

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively with residents

• Proficient in the use of landscaping tools and equipment

• Valid driver's license

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement a comprehensive landscaping and gardening plan to keep the community's grounds well maintained and aesthetically pleasing

• Oversee the planting, pruning, fertilizing and watering of a variety of plants, trees and flowers

• Monitor the health and condition of all greenery, diagnosing and addressing any issues promptly

• Collaborate with the grounds team to ensure efficient and coordinated grounds maintenance

• Maintain detailed records of all gardening activities and expedintures

• Provide regular updates and recommendations to the Homeowners Association on the state of the landscapping
