QED.ai in the Philippines seeks a first‑class High School STEM Teacher to relocate to Lilongwe, Malawi for at least one year. The role focuses on Mathematics and Physical Science, with Mechatronics as a potential add‑on, joining a growing program that aims to boost STEM from the classroom.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in teaching core STEM subjects at junior high and high school.
• Candidates should be proficient in Mathematics or Physical Science, or both.
• Experience coaching students for mathematics, science, or technology competitions.

Responsibilities

• Teach STEM daily with primary focus on Mathematics.
• Start with private education for selected students, then expand as curriculum stabilizes.
• Co-develop high school lesson plans and curriculums focused on practical STEM topics.
• Lead a weekly math circle for community members of all ages.
• Assist with planning and administration of national STEM contests with local support.
• Collaborate with QED on governmental advocacy to raise STEM standards.
• Support executives with business development and partnerships in STEM between regions.
