Job summary

Commonwealth Foods, Inc. is seeking a delivery helper in Tacloban/Ormoc area to assist in product delivery and loading. You will work with the salesman and driver to ensure timely, accurate deliveries and professional interactions with customers.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining secure loads, documenting deliveries, and obtaining receipts from clients. This role requires adherence to safety policies and the ability to work in Ormoc City, Leyte, as a direct hire, full-time

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and clients with the salesman and driver.
• Load and unload the truck and ensure safe handling of items.
• Ensure all items are securely loaded and properly documented.
• Compile accurate delivery records and reports.
• Maintain good customer relations by delivering orders on time and courteously.
• Obtain clients’ signatures as acknowledgment of receipt.
• Ensure stock transfer forms are original and untampered.
• Complete daily trip tickets and report incidents of loss or damage.
• Report delivery-related issues to senior staff or the Manager.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Applicant must be willing to work in Ormoc City, Leyte.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities of a Helper

• Helper works with salesman and driver to deliver products to customers and clients.

• Helpers are responsible for all tasks such as loading and unloading the truck.

• Responsible to assure that all item for delivery is safely loaded and secured.

• Compiling accurate delivery records and reports.

• Responsible to ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and professional manner.

• Obtaining clients’ and customers’ signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.

• Ensures all documents (stock transfer forms) turned in are original and not tampered;

• Completes the daily trip ticket including submitting timely report of incidents of lost, stolen or damaged goods while in transit.

• Reporting all delivery-related problems to senior staff or Manager.

• Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
