Job Description

• A Hardware Shop Helper assists with the daily operations of a hardware store. Their primary duties include:
• Customer Service: Greet customers, answer their inquiries, and guide them in finding the right tools, materials, or hardware products they need.
• Stock Management: Assist in receiving and unpacking deliveries, organizing products on shelves, and keeping track of inventory levels.
• Product Display: Help maintain well-organized product displays to enhance store appearance and make it easier for customers to find items.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, well-maintained, and safe by organizing aisles, dusting shelves, and performing general housekeeping tasks.
• Assisting with Sales: Occasionally help customers with product selection, provide basic information about the products, and assist in sales transactions.
• Manual Labor: Lift, carry, and move heavy materials or products around the store, including stocking shelves and organizing the storage area.
• Stock Replenishment: Help ensure that products are restocked and available for customers, keeping track of stock levels and notifying management when supplies are low.
