Overview
The Store Helper assists store personnel in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient store environment.
Responsibilities
- Stocking shelves and displays: Unpacking, organizing, and stocking merchandise, ensuring accurate pricing and placement. Maintaining shelf and display cleanliness and organization.
- Maintaining store cleanliness: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and emptying trash receptacles. Maintaining overall store tidiness and organization.
- Assisting with receiving and processing shipments: Unloading trucks, checking in deliveries, and verifying inventory against invoices.
- Assisting customers: Providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, locating merchandise, and assisting with carrying items.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail or warehouse setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings (if applicable).
- Attention to detail; written and verbal communication skills.
