Job Description

Assisting experienced tire technicians in a tire shop by performing tasks like removing and installing tires, mounting and balancing wheels, maintaining inventory, cleaning the shop area, and generally supporting the team with basic tire-related duties, requiring minimal prior experience but a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Tire removal and installation: Helping to remove old tires from vehicles and install new ones using tire changing equipment.
• Wheel mounting and balancing: Assisting with mounting tires onto wheels and balancing them to ensure proper alignment.
• Inventory management: Checking tire stock levels, organizing tires in the warehouse, and notifying technicians about low stock.
• Shop maintenance: Keeping the shop clean and organized, including tools and equipment.
• Customer service support: Answering customer questions about tire types and sizes, assisting with tire selection.
• Basic repairs: Performing minor tire repairs like patching small punctures under supervision.
• Loading and unloading tires: Moving tires from delivery trucks to the storage area.
