Job summary

RAE Group Companies in the Philippines is seeking a skilled heavy equipment mechanic to perform inspections, diagnose issues, and execute preventive maintenance on engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems.

You will document activities, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with the team to ensure minimal downtime and reliable operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands on experience in heavy equipment maintenance
• Proficient in resolving mechanical issues
• Follow equipment safety protocols
• Familiar with maintenance safety tools
• Effective communications and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to identify potential problems or wear and tear.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance task, such as oil chances, filter replacements, and lubrication.
• Repair damaged or worn-out components, including engines, transmission, hydraulic system and electrical systems.
• Conduct major overhauls of heavy equipment, including dissembling, cleaning, inspecting, repairing and resembling components.
• Identify and resolve complex mechanical problems, often using troubleshooting guides and manuals.
• Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and labor hours.
