We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Healthcare Scheduler with at least 2 years of experience in scheduling within the U.S. Homecare industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating appointments, managing staff schedules, and ensuring efficient patient and caregiver coverage. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a deep understanding of healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage daily schedules for healthcare staff, including nurses, caregivers, and therapists.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and staff to confirm appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and respond promptly to last-minute changes or call-offs.
  • Maintain accurate records in scheduling software and update calendars in real time.
  • Collaborate with HR and operations teams to align staffing with patient needs.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and healthcare regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a homecare scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems, terminology, and staffing models.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., ClearCare, Alaya Care, HomeTrak, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of scheduling requests.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
