Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Quality Analyst to support auditing, analysis, and reporting in healthcare insurance collections. The role emphasizes PHI handling under HIPAA, risk identification, and process improvement within a collaborative Operations and Training team.

The position requires hands-on experience with audits, detailed reporting, and training new users while maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of QA experience in healthcare insurance collections, self-pay collections or customer service in call centers.
• Experience with training new users.
• Knowledge of EOBs and healthcare coding (CPT, ICD-9/10).
• Understanding of revenue cycle processes including insurance, billing and collections.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit and analyze quality processes to meet client and internal targets.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings timely.
• Identify methods to achieve quality targets and implement process improvements.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and ongoing staff training.
