Job summary

UST in the Philippines is seeking a Healthcare Claims Support specialist on a fixed-term contract. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, document interactions in ticketing systems, and liaise between the claims department and providers to resolve inquiries promptly.

You should have 1–2 years in healthcare claims or similar call-center environments, strong communication, and MS Office skills. Training occurs onsite with hybrid transition in production.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Experience in healthcare claims or call centers a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Willingness to work on a fixed-term contract and onsite/training then hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to inbound phone calls for customer assistance.
• Respond to outbound phone call requests.
• Document all calls in ticketing/tracking systems.
• Address inquiries and provide data within set timeframes.
• Act as liaison between claims department and providers.
• Research customer claims in primary payor systems.
• Maintain high level of customer service on every call.
• Understand covered plan benefits and respond accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
