Job description

The Head Office Audit Officer is responsible in implementing the approved Annual Audit Plan designed to evaluate and enhance the risk management, control, and governance processes in order to assist the Management achieve its corporate goals.

Your Impact

• Complete all assigned audit reviews based on the approved Audit Plan within set deadlines and all other assignments as directed by the Audit Committee of the Board (ACB).
• Constant communication with the audit team to ensure that the audit is carried out in accordance with the audit program and that significant audit issues are properly and timely managed.
• Monitor progress of every engagement.
• Review/assess the Unit's business operations (by referring to Operations Manual and other
• related documents) for a better understanding of the risks involved and assessment of controls in place.
• Review previous Internal and External audit reports and other issues regarding the Unit to be
• audited.
• Evaluate the significance of outstanding issues and ensure that these will be adequately covered/verified in the audit.
• Brief the Team Members accordingly.
• Allocate Audit load to Team Members giving consideration to their experience, competency and background.
• Provide inputs to Team Members on the effective and efficient way of conducting the audit.

Your Profile

• A graduate of BS Accountancy or any relevant degree
• Knowledgeable in Branch / Head Office Audits
• Versed in BSP and other government and legal agency rules and regulations
• Preferably with MBA degree or Certification – CPA, CIA, CFE, CFSA or Treasury/Trust Certifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Other Audit Related Systems Applications
