Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks a senior Wealth Deposits Head to own deposit strategy and governance for wealth-focused clients from our Eastwood hub. You will optimize funding for cards and lending, drive balance migration to high-value wealth solutions, and lead digital-first deposit experiences across channels.

The role requires 8–12 years in banking with deposit and wealth product exposure, plus strong cross-functional leadership and regulatory know-how with BSP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 8–12 years of banking experience with exposure to deposit products and wealth management.
• Direct experience in deposit pricing, balance sheet management, and funding strategy.
• Proven track record in product management, digital innovation, and cross-functional execution.
• Deep understanding of the Philippine banking landscape and BSP regulation.

• Drive Deposit Strategy: Formulate and execute wealth deposit plans to fund card/lending portfolios.
• Pricing & Retention Management: Design interest rate and pricing strategies to optimize margins and reduce attrition.
• Product Governance & Lifecycle: Oversee savings, time deposits, and FX products with BSP compliance.
• Digital Enablement: Partner with Digital Banking and Tech teams to create seamless journeys.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead migration and product replication across Product, Ops, Marketing, Compliance, and Frontline.
• Team Leadership: Coach and develop a high-performing product team and advise senior management.

About the Role

As the Wealth Deposits Head, you will take full ownership of the strategy, performance, and governance of deposit products tailored to the Wealth segment. Operating from our Eastwood, Quezon City hub, you will optimize funding for credit cards and lending portfolios, drive balance migration into high-value wealth solutions, and champion digital-first deposit experience enhancements across channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Deposit Strategy: Formulate and execute wealth deposit plans to achieve balance sheet objectives and fund card/lending portfolios.
• Pricing & Retention Management: Design interest rate and pricing strategies to optimize margins, reduce client attrition, and safeguard balances during platform transitions.
• Product Governance & Lifecycle: Oversee savings, time deposits, and FX products, ensuring full compliance with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and internal governance standards.
• Digital Enablement: Partner with Digital Banking and Tech teams to build seamless, frictionless customer journeys across digital and assisted channels.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead integration, migration, and product replication workstreams across Product, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and Frontline teams.
• Team Leadership: Coach and develop a high-performing product team while acting as a trusted advisor to senior management.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 8 to 12 years of relevant banking experience, with strong exposure to deposit products, wealth management, or retail banking.
• Direct experience in deposit pricing, balance sheet management, and funding strategy.
• Proven track record in product management, digital innovation, and cross-functional execution.
• Deep understanding of the Philippine banking landscape and BSP regulatory environment.

Good-to-Have

• Experience leading product migration, replication, or system integration initiatives within a bank.
• Exposure to FX-related deposit products and cross-selling into investment/insurance solutions.
