Job summary

PaxSigna is hiring a Guidewire Data Engineer in the Philippines to develop and support data migration, integration, and reporting for Guidewire implementations. You will work with Data Leads, Solution Architects, and business teams to deliver data workstreams across PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field is required.
• 4–8 years of Data Engineering, ETL, data migration experience.
• Experience with data mapping, ETL processes, SQL development, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of relational databases and data quality management.
• Experience with data integration and large-volume data handling.
• Understanding of Property & Casualty insurance data structures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy insurance systems and data structures to support migration.
• Develop source-to-target data mappings and ETL processes for Policy, Claims, Billing, Customer, and Producer data.
• Design scalable data pipelines and reusable migration frameworks.
• Develop SQL scripts, optimize performance, and support large-volume processing.
• Participate in mock conversions, trial runs, production cutovers, and post-migration validation.
• Perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation for accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and support integrations between Guidewire apps and external systems via APIs and batch interfaces.
• Support Guidewire DataHub, InfoCenter, and Guidewire Cloud Data Platform.
• Execute SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
• Investigate and resolve data defects and quality concerns.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Guidewire teams to clarify requirements and mappings.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide post-deployment support.
