Job summary

Ramesh Trading Corporation in the Philippines seeks a skilled video editor to handle a wide range of media, develop fresh design concepts, and deliver compelling visual content.

You will study briefs, select the best shots, cut and sequence footage, and review outputs to ensure quality, using Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop to realise art requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Advertising, Media, Art, Design, Creative Multimedia or related course
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Up to date with industry-leading software and technologies in design, illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop
• Experience in wholesale or retail industry would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
• Create and conceptualise visually and creative executions for any needed art requirements
• Plans concepts by studying briefs provided and other supporting materials
• Select and combine the most effective shots of each scene in order to form a logical output
• Digitally cutting files to put together in a sequence of video and deciding what is usable
• Trim video segments to specified lengths, and reassemble segments in sequences
• Review assembled videos on monitors in order to determine if corrections are necessary
• Review footage sequence by sequence in order to become familiar with it before assembling it into a final product
• Illustrates concept by providing a rough layout of art and copy according to an arrangement, size, type, style and related aesthetic concepts
