Job summary

EAII Advisors, Evidence Action’s technical partner in India, seeks a hands-on Dashboard Engineer to build and own a lightweight HTML/JSON dashboard for the Andhra Pradesh Jal Mitra project.

You will translate government requirements into technical specs, integrate data across systems, and coordinate with vendors and Delhi-based staff. This is a 6-month consultancy based in Vijayawada with regular travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT/data systems, or related field.
• 4+ years hands-on experience building web dashboards with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience consuming data from JSON APIs and debugging data in feeds.
• Prior liaison with Andhra Pradesh state government departments strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Telugu and English required; Hindi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-ground liaison with AP RWS&S and Jal Mitra teams in Vijayawada.
• Translate government requirements into clear technical specifications for the dashboard build.
• Coordinate with the New Delhi-based dashboard developer to implement and iterate requirements.
