Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Supplier Cybersecurity Controls Assessor Vice President within Supplier Assurance Services to lead assessments of supplier environments and manage third-party risk.

You will evaluate evidence, document control gaps, and partner with stakeholders to drive remediation plans, reporting findings to senior leadership. This role requires strong communication, experience with risk frameworks, and the ability to influence remediation actions across complex supplier

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology risk, controls, or third-party risk management.
• Experience assessing third-party security controls.
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001/NIST CSF.
• Experience with application, cloud, network security or cyber resiliency.
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear risk statements.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to develop remediation plans and validate implementation.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier assessment questionnaires and evidence for completeness.
• Lead on-site or virtual supplier assessments and discussions.
• Assess supplier infrastructure, applications and security practices against defined control expectations.
• Identify control gaps and communicate vulnerabilities in supplier environments.
• Develop remediation action plans with stakeholders and track progress to closure.
• Evaluate risk acceptance requests and document rationale.
• Recommend practical risk mitigations to improve supplier security posture.
• Identify opportunities to improve assessment efficiency and consistency.
• Support education on supplier cybersecurity risk and controls.
• Escalate significant issues through appropriate channels.
