Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a senior audit professional to lead and manage multiple engagements for multinational clients. You will perform reviews of complex audit areas, ensuring adherence to IFRS and Irish GAAP.

The role requires coordinating with global member firms to deliver consistent audits from planning through completion. Responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, preparing technical documentation, and identifying process improvements.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification with 4+ years of post-qualification audit experience.
• Experience auditing multinational/Irish company clients and top 10 firms.
• Strong IFRS and Irish GAAP knowledge; US GAAP awareness is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements for multinational clients.
• Perform and review complex audit areas ensuring standards compliance.
• Coordinate with global member firms to deliver consistent global audits.
• Liaise with clients throughout the audit cycle from planning to completion.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing on-the-job training and feedback.
• Prepare and review technical audit documentation for quality and clarity.
• Identify process improvements and support best practice implementation.
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Assist in developing proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
