Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a senior procurement leader to drive localization in the Philippines, coordinating with global sourcing teams and cross-functional partners to improve cost, delivery, and quality. The role covers tooling, spares, stamping, molding, and die casting, with an emphasis on supplier development and risk resilience.

Responsibilities include leading the procurement organization, negotiating direct material contracts, and aligning with QA for supplier quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or engineering discipline required.
10+ years of experience in advanced procurement; experience in supply chain management preferred.
5+ years of management experience; global exposure required.
Graduate degree in business (MBA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the procurement organization to achieve productivity, supply performance, quality, and localization.
Develop and manage localization supplier relationships and performance.
Drive material localization efforts to reduce cost and improve delivery flexibility.
Lead direct materials bidding, negotiation, and contracting processes.
Collaborate with Design Engineering & Manufacturing to drive NPI project execution.
Serve as escalation point for delivery/quality issues and secure favorable resolutions.
Monitor TE supply chain metrics and drive supplier performance improvements.
Lead quarterly supplier scorecard reviews with commodity teams.
Prepare suppliers to meet material, volume, location, and capacity needs; ensure audits pass.
Coordinate with QA to ensure supplier quality during NPI; engage commodity managers when needed.
Communicate with Sales/Design Engineering to reduce supply chain risk.
Ensure direct materials comply with TE policies and guidelines.
Oversee workloads, staff development, and performance management.
Foster a global mindset and act as a change agent to challenge the status quo.
