Job summary

Nezda Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Accountant - General Ledger Intercompany to strengthen corporate accounting in a multinational setting.

You will focus on General Ledger and intercompany accounting, supporting month-end close, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, eliminations, and multi-currency activities across global entities. Collaborate with international teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and help improve accounting processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in intercompany and/or multi-entity environments.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and intercompany accounting.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and foreign currency accounting (ASC 830) is highly preferred.
• Strong General Ledger and month-end closing experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
• Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with global/international teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with a focus on General Ledger and intercompany accounting.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including intercompany transactions, accruals, allocations, reclassifications, and foreign currency adjustments.
• Own the intercompany close process, including transaction matching, settlements, reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and eliminations.
• Support multi-currency accounting and consolidations, including CTA analysis.
• Perform balance sheet and GL reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with US GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and meet closing deadlines.
• Support audit requirements and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve intercompany processes, controls, and overall accounting efficiency.
