Job summary

Instructure, a global leader in education technology, seeks an detail-oriented Accountant to support IFRS reporting for international entities and assist during audit cycles. The role collaborates across time zones to maintain accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in our finance function.

You will work on month-end close, international subsidiaries, and intercompany eliminations, with emphasis on IFRS standards and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA license (Philippines) strongly preferred.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally with multinational or shared-services exposure.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and hands-on IFRS financial statements experience required.
• Prior involvement in statutory audit support or external audit coordination is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements for multiple international entities.
• Support statutory audit by coordinating with external auditors and responding to queries.
• Assist month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across currencies for international subsidiaries.
• Prepare schedules and working papers for financial reporting packages.
