Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim in Manila seeks a results-driven finance leader to own the PCIA function in GBS Center Manila and lead a team delivering world-class accounting services across multiple countries.

In this role you will drive operational excellence, foster continuous improvement, ensure compliance and financial integrity, and transform processes while developing talent within a dynamic global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree combined with substantial job experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Costing, Inventory Accounting area, and/or related Management Accounting processes.
• Excellent SAP know-how in SAP CO, SD, FI, MM, WM, Business Warehouse.
• Very good customer-oriented presentation and communication skills.
• Profound knowledge in MS Office Tools.
• Fluent English skills (read, write, speak); language skills of other foreign languages are an asset.
• Experience in leading a team, preferably in a shared service center environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for covering specific Management Accounting processes in Product Costing and Inventory Accounting
• Responsible for defining targets and evaluating the performance
• Defines responsibilities and work packages in his/her team
• Preparation, coordination and execution of complex Management Accounting processes
• Preparation of comprehensive special analyses incl. ad-hoc reports as well as definition of standard templates for frequent usage
• Ensures compliance of global processes within area of responsibility
• Responsible for the transition or implementation of Management Accounting processes and systems, especially for deployments and hypercare phases
• Develops cross-functional and global solutions, processes and drives their implementation
• Leads continuous improvement projects
• Coordinates and leads training or workshops
• Handling and improvement of diverse ERP-systems and linked financial tools which requires an excellent understanding for all related end-to-end processes within Corporate, GBS and local OPUs
