Job summary

Inland Corporation in Manila is seeking an Export Manager to oversee the company’s export operations and ensure timely shipments to international markets. You will coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams while ensuring compliance with export regulations.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience in export operations and a strong grasp of customs procedures, documentation, and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in export operations, international trade, logistics, or freight forwarding.
• Proven experience in managing export documentation and international shipments.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, international trade procedures, and shipping processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant logistics or ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments and priorities.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all export transactions from order processing to final delivery.
• Coordinate with international customers regarding orders, shipping schedules, and documentation requirements.
• Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of export documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and Export Declarations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
• Ensure compliance with local and international export laws, customs regulations, and trade requirements.
• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve delays, documentation issues, and other operational concerns.
• Negotiate and manage freight rates and logistics services when required.
• Lead and supervise the export team and provide guidance on daily operations.
• Develop and improve export procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of export transactions, shipments, and related documentation.
